Shantewe Stable Visit

A group of us made our way over to Folly House to check out how Shantewe was progressing since her summer break. It's fair to say she looked magnificent, she put on 63Kg's over the summer which has resulted in her filling out and looking stronger, the picture below shows her on top from today and below taken in January, her coat has changed to a real bay colour too

She did two canters up the hill gallop under Page Fuller who has turned professional this year having been champion amateur for the last two years. She did this hard on the bridle, didn't sweat up at all and looked to have a great stride. Video of the piece of work is below, Shantewe is following the lead horse.

 

It was interesting to get Page's feedback which you can see in the video below.

 

Jamie is delighted with her progress and thinks she'll be ready for fast work next month with a view to a racecourse debut at the end of October.
