SHANTEWE - 26th Jan Yard Visit

A number of the Shantewe syndicate visited the yard on the 26th Jan. Following bacon butties and copious amounts of tea, we made our way up to the stunning Lambourn Gallops to watch Shantewe canter twice up the 6f Hill Gallop.

Shantewe is in the second group following a lead horse.

Jamie continues to be pleased with Shantewe's attitude and outlined his plans for her as follows:

Obviously this is subject to her continuing to improve and showing something on the racecourse, but you've got to have a plan right?

Step up her work to the longer grass gallops over the next couple of weeks.

Racecourse gallop in February (likely to be Newbury or Kempton)

Debut in March on better spring ground

Another run before a summer break

Come back in the Autumn with the target of the listed fillies bumper at Cheltenham's Paddy Power meeting.
