Git Maker has been an amazing horse for SAAL Racing. Winning 6 of his 11 races he gave us the thrill of a lifetime when finishing second in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham Festival.

In a maximum field of 22 The Git only found an extremely well handicapped Irish raider in the form of Inothewayyourthinkin too good for him. Jumping from fence to fence under a fine ride from top English amateur Will Biddick, coming down the hill he was going much the best only for the well backed favourite to appear and go on to win by 8 lengths. Git was 18 lengths in front of the 3rd horse.

The Git followed up Cheltenham with a fantastic 3rd in the Scottish Grand National in ground that went against him on the day, he didn't jump as well out of the drying ground but got every yard of the trip and will now take a break before being aimed at the top staying handicap chases next season.
